Faces, with the emotions and history that they
convey, have always intrigued me. The story
of one's life is a permanently etched there as
on a fine sculpture - reflecting both personal
hardships and  joys, determination and resolve.
My oil and graphite originals are representative
of the stories that surround us everyday, we
need only to look closely and read carefully
their meanings.

Color, for me is a tool to emphasize the emotion
conveyed.  A moment in time, frozen as if a single
subtext will release secrets that prove the key to
a life lived.

No examination of life would be complete without
the measured balance of absurdity and the under-
lying forces over which we have no control. We
find ourselves chasing the ghosts of life's shadows 
while living with the dichotomy.
